PLDT Pay Express: Thank God For This

Following the recent changes on PLDT, I appreciate how they upgraded their payment system. 

I was so happy when I receive my e-statement this month stating that I can now pay my bills using my debit/credit cards. I know they have several options where we can pay our bills online through online banking but I just prefer using my card for payments and maximize my card rewards. Hahaha :)

Aside from that, I also like that I don't have to log-in to my PLDT account to use this feature. A direct link that is specific for my account where I can pay for my bill is already embedded on the e-statement. Plus you can use the same link to check your updated balance or to check if your payment was already posted.

The image above is what you will see when you click on the link on your e-statement. Your balance will automatically show on the amount to pay. Click on agree TaC then click on Credit Card. It will then navigate you to Pesopay where you will enter your details.

That's it! I'm done in less than 5 minutes.. :)

How To Reload Gcash Online

I am not a frequent user for GCASH, but sometimes it is really handy when you shop online. In a place like mine, finding a GCASH outlet where you can cash-in to your account is quite difficult. I was really glad I discovered how to reload my Gcash account online and without going outside. Fast, Safe, Hassle-free and Always accessible!

How To Reload Gcash Online:

1. Log-in/Register GCASH Online Account

Make sure you have an active GCASH account and that you have a registered account on Globe portal. Select "Confirm "

2. If you have successfully logged in to your Globe account. You should be able to see your phone on the dropdown menu. Select your number and enter your Gcash Pin. Once done, the page will navigate you to your Gcash account dashboard. Globe will also send you an SMS to confirm that you have logged to your Gcash Online Account.

 3. And this how your dashboard will look like with the summary of your account.

4. To cash in, simple click on "Cash in".

As of this writing, they accept the following banks to reload your GCash account online

*BDO

*BPI

*Cooperative Rural Bank of Bulacan

*MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center

*Other Megalink Banks

*Pacific Ace Savings Bank

*Unionbank of the Philippines

*United Coconut Planters Bank

In my case, I chose Unionbank of the Philippines.

5. And then it will navigate you to their payment gateway. Enter the required fields, submit and your done.

The amount you transferred is credited real-time(based on my experience using Unionbank). I like how GCASH have this feature, it really makes your online shopping hassle-free and convenient at all.

How To Pay Pag-IBIG Fund Contributions Online

One of my checklist for this year is to start saving through Pag-IBIG Fund. Pag-IBIG is actually a good investment and the availability to pay for the contributions online using your Visa or MasterCard Credit Card are the reasons why I decided to be a member.

As a voluntary member, their online payment facility is very convenient because you got to save time with the long queue or the time you go to payment center. Though it has a charge but it's a reasonable 3.6% convenience fee.

So if you are new to Pag-IBIG, an OFW or just too lazy to go out like me, here's a guide on how to pay for your Monthly Contributions online. Hope this will help you :)

1. Log on to http://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/ and click on E-SERVICES.

2. You will be redirected to their online payment facility which will look like this.

Simply enter your Pag-IBIG ID number and click verify to see if you have entered your ID correctly. After clicking "Verify", the member's name will be filled out automatically, so if you see it's not your name re-enter your correct ID and verify again. Then finish filling out other necessary information.

3. After clicking submit, you will be redirected to a Payment Summary page where you can review your details.

Click Back button if you need to make changes. Click submit if all details are correct and to proceed with your payment.

4. After you click submit, you will be connected to Pesopay Payment Service where you can enter your credit card details.

1. Top: Select your card type - Visa or MasterCard. 
2. Center: Enter your card details. 
3. Bottom: After ensuring all information is correct, click on Submit. Processing...

5. You will get a confirmation from Pesopay if your payment went through successfully and if you click continue, you will be directed back to Pag-IBIG site with a confirmation of your payment. You will also receive an email and a SMS confirmation.

And that's it. The convenience of online payments.

How To Disable Globe Tattoo Toolbar Permanently

It’s not only me and I know there are many Globe Tattoo users out there who also gets annoyed with the Toolbar. That small violet squared thing that appears on the lower right side of your browser. Few months ago, they have launched the toolbar. Even after doing some research on how to get rid of it, I still can’t figure how to so instead I bookmarked the unsubscribe link. So every time I clear my cache or use an incognito mode for browsing, I will have to click the link just to get rid of the toolbar since it doesn’t leave permanently. Aside from it's annoying, I also noticed that when the toolbar is active, it affects my browsing speed. It sometimes slows my browser specially when using my netbook. Does anyone experience that also? Or was it just me...

Well anyway, just recently, I noticed that the unsubscribe link doesn’t work anymore. No matter how many times I click it, the toolbar doesn’t leave my browser. Frustrated and annoyed again, I search again for any methods on how to get rid of it but to no luck, nothing worked. Then later I found out after clicking on the menus on the toolbar that it can be permanently disabled. In case you didn’t find the menu yet, here’s how to disable Globe Tattoo toolbar permanently.

• Hover over your mouse on the toolbar. Usually you'll find it on the lower right side of your browser.

• After you hover over it, the menus will show then click on the button with the Question Mark.

• You'll then be given another set of menus, click on the Disable Button, the with an X.

• Then click " I WANT TO DISABLE MY TATTOO TOOLBAR PERMANENTLY' and that's it.

Glad that Globe had finally figured it out how to permanently get rid with Globe Tattoo toolbar. Now let's continue browsing... :)
