Fashion71.net Review

Category: Internet Shopping

I have always been curious how to order dresses from China. Even before I was planning to start a RTW online shop, I have already bumped into several whole sale websites I can find online. But I get hesitant to buy since it’s from China and we all know that purchasing from abroad will some Customs Tax when delivered that is why I backed out.

Just now I’ve got some penny to spare, I tried ordering to one of the many websites I have bumped into. Fashion71.net also sells items from China and claimed to be at a wholesale price. But then I think their price is a bit higher compared to one of the sites I have found but I’m not gonna mention. What makes me order from this is their lower charge for shipping, which is I am more concerned with.

I first search for reliable reviews online about this site and found one which I forgot the link. She ordered and got it delivered after a week. Then I tried to make my own order for a couple of dresses and use DPEX as my courier. The dresses were of good quality, it’s the same one we see on malls too. The local courier who delivered was LBC, I think they are tied-up with DPEX or Toll Express, whatever it is.

And what is the thing I was most happy about? There was no Customs Tax! I guess I’ll be shopping again at Fashion71.net.

  1. Hi :) No customs tax? Seriously? A blogger also told me that there are no customs tax when it comes to fashion71 or I guess from DPEX. When are you going to purchase another items from Fashion71? May I know kung Ilan po weight nung pinadala mo? Matagal ko na po kasing gusto umorder talaga sa Fash71 eh, naninigurado lang ako :)) Sana po makareply kayo.

    1. Hi Karen, yes no tax was collected. I even made sure with the guy who delivered if wala ba akong babayaran. Wala naman daw, sabi nya. nakalimutan ko na kung ilan ang weight non kasi iba yung nasa parcel at yung calculation sa site. Basta, it was for 2 items only na magkasya sa large transpack ng LBC. I'm not sure if kung kahun2 ang bibilhin mo, baka may tax na yun. hehe.

Pag may extra money ulit, baka bibili ako ulit sa kanila. hehehe.

    2. Hi, I've been looking for a site where I could shop internationally and not get scammed... Is this site legit? And is it worth buying from them? Also, how long did it take for you items to come. I also went to asiaclothing.net but thought it was a scam. the prices are high for shipping. Have you shopped there before?

    3. Hi Edeltha McGee

Yup, fashion71 is legit. It took almost 1 week to get items throug DPEX. Please note I am from Philippines. Transit time may be different if you are from a different country. Items were of good quality though, not as good as those with branded items.. but yeah, I love the dresses i ordered from them.

I have not tried asiaclothing yet... Happy shopping!

If you are from the Philippines, you might want to try Little Emily.

  3. I just got so annoyed and disappointed by their service. They do not double check your orders. My order is in Boston which should be shipped in Philippines. Even if you give your zip code. They should have checked that my provided province, city and zip code is not found in Boston. And the only answer i got from them is that I should have check my information + they double check randomly. Tsk! Tsk! This will add additional cost to buyers wherein originally, we are hoping that we saved a lot from them because their marketing adds is they sell "CHEAP" clothes. har! har!

  8. Don't buy from this website!!! I had a horrible experience from them. They are just cheating your money. First of all, the clothes do not look like the pictures at all. Secondly, the clothes I ordered came with big stains and missing parts. When I asked them about it they told me to fix it myself. Horrible clothes and horrible service. Out to cheat people's money.

    1. hi hopie, I am not really sure how much it would cost to NZ, but you may refer to their shipping FAQ page. Also, it is automatically calculated when you add an item to your cart.

  15. hello ssaera cadabara, are they going to add the shipping cost to the price of the product? i am a bit confused if shipping cost will cover it all or not because i am new to this international online shopping. :) thanks

    1. product price does not include shipping fee. Shipping fee is different and you can view it on your cart before checkout, you can even chose what shipping co. you want with its estimated price. Shipping fee is calculated according to the weight of your order.

    1. Hi Paul,

Thanks for dropping by. I am actually not sure, coz during my order I paid through paypal. If you have linked your card with your paypal, it will be automatically converted. I am not sure kasi whats the best courier, but it will show naman upon check out kun ano yung mas mura. depende rin kasi if how many kilos yung purchase mo.

      :)

    1. i connect mo nlng sa paypal. para di mo na kailangan i expose yung card details mo if u wish to buy using your debit. aside from that, many online shops in the Philippines also accepts paypal na rin like zalora, lazada cebu pac, etc, kahit sa ebay and other small scale online shop sa fb. magagamit mo rin.

  21. Hi , For clarifying all of you. the one did not put taxes is DPEX. they are the only company did not put taxes when your items is 1- 5 kilos. that's why when you make purchasing chose DPEX OR TOLL AS A COURIER

    ReplyDelete
  22. @ssaera cadabra...if I'm reading correctly you ordered from them once in 2013 and yet you are like a spokesperson for them still answering questions from potential customers. I find that extremely strange....do you or don't you work for them and trying to drum up business for them???

    1. NO. i don't work for them nor get paid for this post. I just like replying to comments. Is it that bad?

I will close comments on this post to avoid any confusion.
