Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm SPF 18 (Kissing Pink)

Summer is here! Keeping those lips moisturize and protected from the harmful sun is possible with Missha the Style Glow Tint Lip Balm SPF 18. Kissable pink lips, this tint is what you need. I got it for Php 400-450. This is actually the first lip color I have that has an added SPF to it and it's quite good and I am happy with it.

I got that description from Missha Au website.

The box comes in a light pinkish with silver and white fonts on it. Aside from the product title, everything else is in Korean. The product cylinder has the same design except the silver designs which you can't find on the cylinder. I find the design sophisticated and elegant. Missha designs are more likely for mature women. (Just my thoughts.)

The cylinder is not too long nor big and does fit well on my purse.

I tried it on my hands just to see how the swatch will look and it is so light though. As you can see on the above image, the product is so pink from the cylinder but when applied, it gives you a very light soft pink which matches well if you want an innocent look. It looks glossy, (that why it's glow tint!) Application is easy, it slides easily. It also has a sweet smell and doesn't taste bad when you lick your lips. It's too sticky for me and doesn't stay that long though but I still like using it on.

Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm

I really like that color. It's too fresh looking, and looks so moisturized. On the above image, you will see the comparison on my upper and lower lip with and without the Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm. I used Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm before applying Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm.

And that's how it will look after applying on my lips. That's just too irresistible. I also tried using it after the Nature Republic Water Tint #02 Pink.

Nature Republic Water Tint #02 Pink + Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm

I am not sure, but it looked so pink to me or may hot pink. But it last longer if I use both together. I also tried using the product after a primer/lip concealer, and girl, it gives a lighter and more innocent pinkish lips. It just looks so fresh. Sorry I have no sample picture. Once I'll have a time trying it again, I might update this post.

What I like
- Has SPF 18
- moisturizing
- lovely pink color
What I Don't like
- too sticky
- doesn't last long

I do not know how much it cost when you buy from Missha Ph stores. But you can always find a reliable sellers online for pre-orders. I also have Rose Red for this product but I have no plans of using it right now.

This is surely a must have for me this summer!

Update: 4/17/15

Since it is summer and its getting really hot and humid from where I am, I notice that the balm is melting a bit. When I turn up the cylinder, the balm is spilling when I turn down it again. I guess this should be placed in my fridge until summer is over.

March Haul: Nature Republic and Missha Loves

I'm actually trying to lay low from too much retail therapy. Hihihih. But I can't say no to skin care products lately.

Nature Republic and Missha
What I got here:

> Nature Republic The First Essence
> Missha The Style Triple Perfection Shadow #3
> Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm (Kissing Pink/Rose Red)
> and some free samples

I was actually disappointed when I check the Missha The Style Triple Perfection Shadow because I wasn't expecting I will receive a refill. I thought the one that I will would be with a case but turns out to be a refill. That why it was probably super discounted at that time or just me that was not reading the product description. Whatever!

Also, got some Missha The Style Glow Tint Lip Balm with SPF which will be perfect for this summer season. I actually tried the Kissing Pink first and I love it. I'll probably make a review on it this week.

Also, hoarding 2 bottles of Nature Republic The First Essence. Got to grab some while it is still uber cheap. This will be enough for 1 year supply.

I can already smell summer breeze around here, don't forget your sunblock!

Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm #01 Review

March is here, I already feel the summer scents around me. How about in your place?

So right now, I will be sharing my thoughts on Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm #01. I bought this last December at Etude House Ayala Cebu for P 278.00/3.5g. I am still trying to find out how much it would cost me if I buy direct from S. Korea, I'm pretty sure it not that expensive. I was actually looking for a lip balm in a plain white color to use day and night and the sales lady recommended this. Actually, this was the last stock on the shelf and I was feeling lucky to get it.

Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm #01

The description is written both Korean and English and written in a very small prints.

"This clear lip balm softens and moisturizes chapped lips with a heartwarming message.

Apply to dry lips."

The design on the packaging is kind of confusing because the image looks like and a male emo kid to me? Do you picture the same as I do? And it looks sad instead of being happy, I quite don't understand what it is trying to say though.

The cylinder is made of plastic and is about 3 inch tall which has blue bottom and white cap. The wax is in white color and has a consistency like a petroleum jelly. Smell is not bad nor good either. I can't say its unscented coz I can smell something on it but not too strong though. Application is easy as it glides easily, however, application can sometimes be messy because the wax especially on the used part becomes soft and break during application. Though it's easy to clean that but can be annoying when you are in hurry. Maybe I should try keeping it inside the fridge to prevent it from becoming soft. It feels warm during application.

It was later last year that I started to get serious on my Korean Skin Care and lips as one of my concerns > chapped. I don't regularly use a lip balm ever since. I only use it only when I feel I need it especially when going to vacations. I started using Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm regularly since December 2014 and I can say it has been really great help since then. I use it day and night and apply more at night if I have an appointment the next day. My lips don't chap and feels smooth and soft when I wake up. Dry skins are not notable and can be easily removed too. In the morning, I use it before any lip colors I use, it makes application for lip color easier too. I actually like using it because I can feel it is effective on keeping my lips moisturize and preventing it from drying out. Overall, it does its job pretty and simple.

What I like
- lips feel soft
- moisturizes
- prevent dry lips

What I don't like
- price is expensive for a lip balm
- products softens that can make application messy.
- weird emo kid on the packaging :)

I am buying again only if it is on sale. Hahaha. But I like Etude House Don't Worry Happy Change Lip Balm honestly. And that's it, I hope my review has been helpful to you.

Have a great summer ahead! :)
