Unexciting September

I feel so sad. I want September to end so soon. I was really excited back then but now, this month is really a sad month for me.

I think it’s my lesson now not to expect too much about anything, I ended up feeling so sad just like now.

I feel so unhappy, that I think shopping can’t even fix it. I feel like crying plus this tension headache makes my head feels so tight that it makes me nauseated. Naaaah… Such a sad, sad, sad month.

I hope when I wake up tomorrow, December na tana! L

I hope Psyexi will come back too, hope you’re in good hands now! L

My September

Since I postponed my Manila trip earlier this month because of the Camiguin trip with my high school friends and yet it was cancelled again, I bet this month for me will be unexciting anymore. L

So I decided to make a review of the gadgets I have invested with or write about the food I just ate or just anything I can think of. I suppose this will make me occupied during my boring weekends for this month. Why suddenly I’m so into blogging lately where I used to really hate this kind of stuff. You see I can’t write well, my grammar sucks sometimes. But I don't mind, who cares, this is my blog anyway! J

Hope you guys will have a great weekend!!! J

Pal Cheon: IPod Nano 6th Generation, Pink

Category: Computers & Electronics
Product Type: MP3 Player
Product :  IPod Nano 6th Gen
Manufacturer: Apple Inc.

This is Pal Cheon, my iPod nano which I never thought I can have. I was only planning to buy the iPod shuffle because it’s cheaper compared to nano. But my brother whom I asked to buy it for me, instead of buying the shuffle, he bought the nano because he didn’t like look of the shuffle. Me, on the other hand was tensed when he told me that he paid for the nano already, I have no choice but to pay him with the remaining amount I owed him. Dang, I felt like I was robbed with 6k that day! Hahaha. Since it was also my birthday, I thought of it as a treat for myself instead of complaining about its price for such a tini-tiny gadget.

So, this is my pink iPod nano, it has 8 GB memory and is touch screen too. Tons of music you put on it and listen to all day long. The package includes its headset, USB cable for charging and connecting it to your pc, the little manuals and the pink iPod. It is a clip on device, which I find it trendy too. You can clip it your shirts, or caps, or shorts, or even to your hair if you want. (But I never tried that yet!J) It holds great though so I don’t have to worry of it falling off. This is my companion every time I am going to travel or going out for a short walk or during brownout.

Inside are icons for your songs, you can either view it by genre or artist. It also allows you to create a playlist. It can also play radio, and can save your own pictures if you want, plus the pedometer function which you can use during workout. Cool eh? But I don’t work-out so I can’t use that function.

Battery life is very awesome, I think if I continually use it nonstop it will run up to 3 or 4 days maybe. Mine is charging once a week, and up to 3 hours charging time. This tiny bar is worth the price I have paid for.

It’s 10 out of 10. Perfect for a music lover like me!

Sven: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini

Category: Computers & Electronics
Product Type: Cell phone
Product : Sony Ericsson E10i
Manufacturer:   Sony Ericsson

I got my phone last May. Actually it’s my first camera phone ever after using a Nokia 2300 and a Samsung GT-E1110 since college days. That’s why I was kind of excited for it.

I bought it on eBay last May and I’m very impressed of what this very small phone capable of. It’s so small that it really feels good on my small hands too. After months of using it, I have been enjoying its features. Wifi works great except that I can’t use it on Ayala Cebu and SM Cebu. The speaker sounds really great. My brother and I compared the sound quality with its Samsung phone, the sound quality is much better compared to his Samsung. The 5mp camera captures very good photos specially the macro features. It has Bluetooth too.

Since it runs an Android OS, Google apps is supported and its already pre-installed on the phone, Gmail, YouTube, Google maps Google places, etc., Gmail account is needed if you have an android phone to make it run properly. It also supports many apps which you can download from the Android market, especially for your social networking life like facebook and twitter. Just download the apps that you want like games and uninstall it afterwards if you don’t find it entertaining. Because of its very small screen, qwerty pad is not available instead it has the multitap keys for typing which I find it more comfortable since I was used to using the old fashioned number pad from my Samsung J

The only downside about this phone is its battery life, if you continually use it like for unlimited texting or frequent calls or wifi maybe, it won’t last you a day. The battery drains fast that you need to constantly charge it. It also heats up when you use it for mobile internet. That is why if wifi is available, I prefer to use it.

I give Sven 9 out 10. It’s my favorite phone as of now. (But hell, I am also dying to have the new Xperia Mini, with cooler features and upgrades. Someday, I can have it. Pag mubarato napod sya. Hehehe!!)

Sucker Punch

Category: Movies
Genre: Science Fiction and Fantasy

Gosh... I must say this movie wasted my time. I thought this was a great movie after seeing the trailer and its promotions and ads. Though the movie has great effects and sound tracks, but the story?? EMPTY.

I don't recommend watching this movie, i'd rather suggest you watch Tom and Jerry. LOL.

But then, I give it 3 out 10 for the effects and OST's.

Loving the Island of Boracay!

Category: Travel
Location: Boracay Island

Ah, Yeah... I bet I have mentioned this before that I will definitely going back to this paradise…

Hello Boracay… It was sunny day when we arrived that day, ideal for our beach activities, and thank God for this weather, me and best friend was able to do reef walk, our top-of-list activity for this trip.

So we went to our resort and put on our bikinis. We took a walk along the beach, and looking for some locals that can help us about the reef walk. I know they are all over on the island, so it wasn’t that hard looking for one. So we met this lady, she was nice. We were planning to get our lunch first before going for reef walk, but because of excitement we decided to do it first. The lady was nice, she have warned us that the next day will have a low pressure coming on the island and that afternoon will be a safer time to have reef walk because the sea is calm.

Here we are, our ride to the site for our reef walk… so excited. Can’t you see it with our smiles in our face! I feel like im like a kid excited to open my Christmas gift. Hahaha. (I want to thank the driver who offered to take our picture. :)

I didn’t know that the helmet was soooooooo heavy! We spent our time underwater taking pictures. But of course, we didn’t take it our selves,  a guide is with you to take all your pictures, in any angle you want, you can sit, you can lie, what ever pose you can think of. After that, we fed the fishes, that was the coolest part! All the fishes around comes near you, it’s like you are in a big aquarium. I found nemo’s cousins there! Hehe.

The next day was a bad day, it was raining so we haven’t had the chance to get tanlines. But still we managed to enjoy our trip.

And we are going for our ATV ride on the other side of the island!

This after the briefing and signing the waiver. Our guide, lecturing us how to use the ATV! We have to wear raincoats.

And we are ready to roll!

Our First stop is where the biggest fruit bat I have ever seen. The Everland Aviary Park. Mostly, what they have there are different kinds of birds.  Actually, I find the place unique, the management are so creative in making the old jet ski and boats as the home for the birds.

I took pictures of some of the living creatures at the aviary.

This place is marked as picture area, so we took our picture here too! J

So heading to our next stop! The Tanawin View Point where you can view the whole island of Boracay!

She's tired taking these steps up to the tower!

Taking pictures! Overlooking  Bulabog Beach…

And yeah! At last we are here at the tower!.. I forgot what beach is in our background but I believe it’s the white beach.

Not the typical Boracay white beach eh? Bad weather when we were there so the beach isn’t that busy.

After taking our long walk at the white beach, we stopped by at Jonah’s….

And of course don’t forget to visit the grotto too.

I failed to see any sand castles along the beach, I hope by next year I can find them when I visit the island again…
