Baek Seung Jo's Diary: Newlywed Morning

Here it goes, since I didn't find a readable translated version (aside from the video where I copied the English version) of the diary for the special webisodes for Playful Kiss, I decided to make a copy of it and followed the format from Liezel, where find I the translated diaries from Ep. 1-16, so they will look all the same. This way, I can read them when I want to.

Merry Christmas 2011!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hoped everyone have enjoyed their Christmas this year.

Hmmm. For me this year, I enjoyed shopping gifts for my family and kids. This is the first time I have spent too much buying gifts for everyone. Though it's expensive, but I have enjoyed purchasing them. hahah. It's better to give than to receive right? And now I feel my card is worn out and exhausted from swiping on the POS and so as my little savings. J

This is also the first time I saw our Christmas tree with this number of gifts. hehehe.

Less food but more gifts for everyone this year! But as long as family is complete and healthy and everyone is merry, that’s all that matters!

Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone!

New year is coming up, what are your new year’s resolutions?

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop Finale

Category: Movies
Genre: Korean Drama

"Nothing else is important. Ramyun taste the best when you eat it while it's bubbling hot." -Pres. Choi, Flower Boy Ramyun Shop

And yet again, another great drama has ended. Flower Boy Ramyun Shop set its final airing last December 20. I would like to extend my congratulations to all the actors, staffs and crews who worked hard to make this drama worth watching for.

This one is also highly recommended, I have even recommended this to my mom. I just don’t know yet if it will be aired here in the Philippines. I really enjoyed following this drama. It’s a romantic comedy type, not much of tears being shed. This is the first K-drama I have watched where in every episode, there is always a reason to laugh. The actors are so funny, special mention to Ba Wool and Chwa. These two always makes me smile. But all of the cast are fun in their ways too.

The finale episode (which is always my problem when following a drama) has satisfied me. The transitions are not too fast and the twists are unexpected. Even in the final episode, they still manage to put on some humor. I will miss them.

If you are looking for fun and enjoyable k-drama to watch, this one would be great to watch.

PS:
Thank you for making my Monday and Tuesday fun filled and enjoyable. Merry Christmas!! :D

And thank you to minyuhsubs for taking time to translate for us.. To kimchid for uploading the episodes for us.

See You In My Dreams!

I never thought I would have met you in my dream. I can still clearly remember how it happened. I was sleeping in my room with my iPod on, and then you came to wake me up. But I can’t hear what you were saying because I have my headset on. I tried removing the buds but no matter how I removed it again and again, there is always something that replaced the buds but then you still continue to pat me and saying something. And suddenly I woke up fearing that I can no longer remove the buds from ear. Hahaha!

I hope you will appear again on my dreams Kim Dog Cow!!! Aside from that, I am hoping for the time that I can meet you personally! Hehehe...

Boys Over Flowers

Category: Movies
Genre: Korean Drama

Finally, I was able to finish Boys Over Flower and I must say, that was a great drama worth watching for. To be honest, I only watch it because of Kim Hyun Joong was there.  Hehehe.

Kim Hyun Jong as Yoon Ji Hoo

As for F4 Mania, I have been fan of then since Meteor Rain appeared on Philippine TV. That was when I was a college student. I can still remember those times I have to go early from school to my cousins house so I can watch it on TV since my room has no TV. The Taiwanese version was nice too. But I think the Korean version is more appealing to me.

F4
I was really wishing that Ji Hoo and Jan Di would end up happy together, but then I know that's not how it will end. The cast have worked hard that they were able to portray their roles effectively. Jan Di, sometimes I hate her because she’s so dumb at times but I salute her for enduring the hardships she been through because of her feelings for Jun Pyo. Jun Pyo, very hard headed and violent but I liked his transformation after meeting and fell for Jan Di. His sincerity towards Jan Di is exceptional. Ji Hoo who is the “firefighter for Jan Di”. He mostly appears when Jan Di is in trouble. I appreciate how he valued his friendship with Jun Pyo and have let go of Jan Di for him. But despite of it all, he always watched over Jan Di. Ee Jung is the coolest among them and has the sweetest smile there is. It can light even the darkest sky with that smile he has. No wonder girls fell for him easily. Good thing he and Ga Eul ended up together. I really liked their story too. I hoped there will be a separate drama about their love story. Woo Bin is the sweetest and acts like an older brother, more like he is the protector among them.

For me, the story and scenes on Boys Over Flowers is much better than the Taiwanese version. The OST are also great. I really appreciate how Korean drama select their OST meticulously that would fit the drama so well. The twist was also good, but it’s more simplified compared to Taiwanese version. But then, both are good drama to watch.

I’d like to congratulate everyone for the job well done. No season 2?? Heheheh.

Early Christmas Present

I just got my early Christmas present from my sweet baby love, KC.

It’s a chocovoron in an Ice cream cone. Hahaha. I think the last time I ate something like this was when I was still in my elementary years. Mom gave it to me this morning. After simbang gabi, she stopped by at my aunt’s house and KC give told her to give this to me. The kid gave her 2 of this and told to give the other one to Kuya Epe too (my boyfriend), but mom refused and said Kuya Epe is not here but still in Cebu. I just don’t know why this kid always looking for his Kuya Epe. KC is the sweetest kid I have known in my entire life. That’s why everybody in our house loves her. KC and my BF are also close with each other.

Thank you KC! Love you baby!!

Kim Hyun Joong on Sparkling Magazine

Category: Publications
Product: Magazine

We went to Marty Mart, a convenient store along Gorordo Avenue in Cebu City to buy some foods we can eat in the hotel during our stay in the city. While bf is busy checking the chips, I was hooked up on the magazine stand near the counter. At first I was interested with the Travel Magazine that the young man picked up. So I also took a copy to look through it. After looking through with other magazines on the stand, this small Sparkling Mag has caught my attention. The man on the cover is so familiar, hahaha. It’s later that I realized it was Kim Hyun Joong-ssi with his mischievous smile. As soon as I saw that bold letters in red, "Kim Hyun Joong", without second thought I took it along and paid for it. Hahaha. Bf was asking why I was buying it, I just smiled. (But inside me, I am so overwhelmed I was able to grab a copy of this issue) Tttssss, he is also a GG fan. LOL!

I’ll share the pages with you guys, heheh… It’s the October 2011 issue covering The Face Shop Asia Tour here in the Philippines. I have only read the part about Kim Hyun Joong-ssi. The other part of the issue, I haven’t read them yet. Hehe. Though it’s a bit short, but I have enjoyed reading and viewing the pictures. I’m simply happy that’s why I’m sharing it.

Kim Hyun Joong: Kiss Kiss

Okay, this has been the first time I have listened to a song over a hundred times. Kim Hyun Joong's Kiss Kiss has been playing on for the last 2 days and I can't stop myself but listen to it over and over again. Sweet song, indeed!!

170 times and still counting not included those on my iPod. :) I can't work if this isn't playing on my headset. When I’m away from my computer, I use my iPod so I can still listen to this song. From the very first time I have heard this song last Friday, I have been listening to it non-stop until now! haha.. This is the first time I have listened to a song more than a hundred times. I also love watching the video, I love the choreography and how Kim Hyun Joong sang to it always with his sweetest smile! J

Let's see how far this will take me. Hahaha!

Here’s the lyrics, hope you guys enjoy the song as much as I do! J

--------------------------------------------------------

Kiss Kiss
Yeah, kiss kiss
꿈처럼, like a star, 너만 기다렸던 거야

세상 어떤 누구도 nothing’s better

커피 한잔의 여유도

보러가는 발걸음도

어느새 익숙해진 기쁨인
이런 내가 아닌데
이런 적이 없는데
너라서 그래

Oh, I won’t stop

I’m loving you

색이 바라지 않는 꿈을 그릴 있게
To love with you
오직 너만이 있는 하나의 magic for us

Kiss kiss

I want your kiss kiss

달콤한 kiss kiss
Oh, baby, baby
I wanna kiss kiss
I need your kiss kiss
둘만의 kiss kiss
Oh, baby, baby

TV처럼, like a dream, 주인공이 같아

세상이란 무대 위에 너와

좋은 영화가 나올
새로운 음악이 나올 때면
제일 먼저 생각나는 너인
이런 남잔 아닌데
이런적은 처음인데
너니까 그래

Kiss Kiss [English Translation]
Yeah, kiss kiss
Like a long dream, like a star, I waited for you

No one else in this world, nothing’s better

The leisure of a cup of coffee

The steps leading me towards you
Are all joys I’ve become familiar with
This isn’t me
I’ve never been this way before
It’s because it’s you

Oh, I won’t stop

I’m loving you
So we can draw a dream of lasting color
To love with you
Only you can provide this magic for us

Kiss kiss

I want your kiss kiss
Sweet kiss kiss
Oh, baby, baby
I wanna kiss kiss
I need your kiss kiss
Just the two of us, kiss kiss
Oh, baby, baby

Like TV, like a dream, I feel like I’m the star

The world is our stage and we are on it
Whenever a good movie premieres
Whenever new music comes out
You’re the first person I think of
I’m not this kind of guy
I’ve never been this way before
It’s because it’s you

Kim Hyun Joong's Playful Kiss

Category: Movies
Genre: Korean Drama

I watched this out of my boredom, but I didn’t know I will be enjoying this drama so much. It’s a beautiful love story about two individual and how they overcome the hardships and still ended up happily together. This is also based on the popular manga Itazura Na Kiss by Tada Kaoru. It's a warm, romantic, bubbly drama.

Baek Seung Jo, played by Kim Hyun Joong-ssi, is an arrogant, genius, perfectionist and noted as a prodigy on his school. He is known and admired among the ladies on their high school not only because he maintains to be always at number 1 spot but also of his good looks. He is good at almost everything except for solving his own feeling towards the person he loves.

Oh Ha Ni, played by Jung So Min, is the complete opposite of Baek Seung Jo. She is a clumsy student who falls for the perfectionist, Baek Seung Jo. An earthquake struck their newly build house which made them homeless and ended up to live with her father’s close friend.

I would really recommend this drama to everyone. It’s very enjoyable, fun and romantic. This is the first K-drama I have watched that I never had problems with the ending because of the webisode on Youtube that they made, I was slowly weaned from the drama. And also the Diary of Baek Seung Jo was also great, it helped me understand more about what the Great Baek Jo is thinking about. Because when you only watch the movie, it keeps you guessing what the hell is he really thinking?? But that was fun though, I know because I just discovered the diaries after I have watched the episodes and webisodes. haha!

This is also the drama that made a fan of Kim Hyun Joong. LOL!

I really find this bears cute which is shown at the ending for every episodes.
I recommend you watch this drama too and hoped you enjoy it as much I did. I'll be uploading a copy of the diaries from the webisodes only soon when I have enough time to edit them. For the complete translated diary you can check liezles blog for episodes 1- 16.

Baek Seung Jo Diary

It would have been great beforehand if I have known that Baek Seung Jo Diaries exist for every episode. Thanks to Liezle who have shared it online in English, I was able to read all of them. I am not yet sure who wrote the diary, is it fan made or really part of production, but hell yeah! That was a diary worth to read! I should watch the drama again and after every episode, I'll read the diary, this way I can understand what the great Seung Jo is thinking. But yeah, of course, I have also enjoyed watching it even without the diary. I got the chance to enjoy the puzzle of what really Seung Jo feels. I can't wait for the afternoon to come so I can write something about Playful Kiss.

Banzai!! Baek Seung Jo!!
Banzai!! Playful Kiss...

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop's Secret Garden Parody (EP 7)

Category: Movies
Genre: Korean Drama

I just started Flower Boy Ramyun Shop (꽃미남 라면가) last weekend, and have started following it since then. It’s a comedy drama about an arrogant and spoiled “Prince” who ended up working part time in a small ramen shop to help him cope with his feelings and refer it as a cure to see this girl who recently been disturbing his thoughts. And the story goes on, da da da.

I was thinking of making a very short review about this drama after its final airing on TV, but after watching EP 7, I really can help but to make a blog on it. I just want to share my favorite scenes. That's it! Hehehe..

I was so “kilig” while watching and reading the subs when Cha Chi Soo was told by Woo Hyun-Woo why not tell the truth to Yang Eunbi that the reason he was working on the shop was to see her, but Cha Chi Soo replied he doesn’t want to see her but he HAD TO see her. He even emphasize it to his friend he HAD TO.

And this was the ultimate reason why I decided to make this one, their Secret Garden Parody. J

This part has pwned me! Long live Secret Garden! :)
That shiny blue track suit that was stitched one by one worn by CEO Kim Joo Won was even there and the OST That Woman was even played in the background. But instead of referring to a beautiful actress, he compared it to a professional boxer and a weight lifter. I just can't help but laugh on this scene, and suddenly misses Secret Garden especially CEO Joo Won.

Why this type of characters does always exists in Korean drama?!! Spoiled rich kid whose charm is doing what they like, I always end up falling in love with the character and admire how the actor portrait it. First Appa Kim Nam Gil, next Hyun Bin, now it Jung Il Woo… Ahhhh… jinja, hallyu wave has already taken me!! LOL!

Anyhow, kudos to the drama and hoping for its success up to its last episode! Aja!

My Trip to Mama Mary, Going to Simala

Category: Travel
Location: Marian Hills, Lindogon, Simala

Going to Simala is pretty easy. I went there with my boyfriend and his brother. It's about 2 hours from Cebu City when you ride with Ceres Bus. First time namo tong nag-adto so pareha mi tanan wa kabalo sa dalan. But gladly, wa rapod baya mi nawala. Daghan man pod diay mi kasakay na nanaug sa Simala.

Nanukad mi sa Bus Terminal didto doul sa E-mall, (they call it city link, ambot ug ngano), we were asked by the dispatchers kun asa mi and we were told to pay terminal fee na P10.00 if we are going to Simala. We waited for a while since napuno naman ang bus pag-abot namo.

Hahaha... Wa man tawon koy kalibutang ug unsa naa sa Simala, confident ra kau ko nagshort ug sa dihang gibadlong ko ni Mr. Guard. Luckily Rap brought with him his sarong so I used it to wrap around my legs. Upon the entrance, mura nakag nakakita ug palasyo sa kadako sa kumbento and there was also huge statues of Mother Mary. That was Sunday when we went there, ug daghan kaayo ang tawo, taas kau ang linya. Subra pod to isang oras among tinindog didto paadto sa Holy Altar kun asa nahitabo ang pag shed sa tears ni Mama Mary.

Sa sulod, it was very neat and the ambiance is very nice. Mura jud kag naa sa palasyu. There’s a church where a mass is being held, on the other side is also a sort of museum sa mga Mother Mary, ang mga garments, mga prayers ug pasalamat gikan sa mga taw pod. Sa mga naayo sa mga sakit ug sa mga nakapasar ug board exams. Kit-an pa nako ang kang Torr na pasalamat atong naka pasar siya sa CPA. Hehehe…

The Holy Mary, the one that shed tears a few times was located at the back of altar. Kun mutan-aw ko niya mura kog maluya. And she was splendid. Gagilak jud iyang gowns. Some of our pictures below. Hope you guys can also go there, dili para mulaag kundi para mag pay visit sa Mother Mary. And even non-Christians are also welcome sa pag-adto didto.

Mao ni ang duha ka tambok. Dako na kaayo ang kumbento. Ana akong mama, payag payag pa daw ni sa  una adtong miadto siya.

Heart of Visayas: Cebu

Category: Travel
Location: Cebu

I’ve been going to Cebu for about 5 times now, and I’ve been thinking of recollecting my memories as to where and what landmarks and famous places I have visited.

According to wikipedia.com, there are 6 traditional landmarks for Cebu. These are:

Basilica Minore del Santo Niño
Fort San Pedro
Lapu Lapu shrine
Magellan's Cross
Magellan shrine
Cebu Taoist Temple

And yes! I have visited all these places. The sad part is I wasn't able to get pictures when I was there on some of these landmarks.

Basilica Minore del Santo Niño

February 2011 was my first visit there. Basilica Minore del Santo Niño is known to be the oldest church in the Philippines. When you visit Cebu, it is imperative among tourist that you visit the church not just to take pictures but to visit and thank Sto. Niño, the patron saint of Cebu. My baby always take me to the church when I visit him in Cebu, but the last time I went there we we're not able to because we didn't have much time and also we went to Mama Mary in Simala.

Magellan's Cross

Me and baby @ Magellan's Cross

The Magellan's Cross is just next to Basilica Minore del Santo Niño. It is not hard to locate it. It just a small circled room with a cross in middle of it surrounded with unlighted colored candles. Also, surrounding the shrine are the candle vendors. I still don't get it why the candles are not lit and where do the older candles go. If the vendors are there for a long time, could it be that shrine must be full of stacked candles already? If someone can enlighten me, please, I’ll be very happy to know why. My first visit there was also February 2011.

Cebu Taoist Temple

Me and classmates @ Taoist Temple

This is the first landmark I’ve been to. First went there last December 2008. I can’t recall where the place is located, but it’s worth the visit there. The place is calm and relaxing. It’s my first time to visit a Taoist temple; I was so amazed with the place, the architectures and the gardens – all are great views and worth the visit. I planned to visit the place again.

Fort San Pedro

I didn't have the chance to explore everything in the site when I was there because I was too tired to check the place and our bus only took a few minutes to stop there. When we visit there last December 2008, the entrance to the fort had some paintings and items with history facts. I’m not sure if it’s the same till now.

Lapu Lapu shrine and Magellan shrine

My classmates

The place was nice for picture taking and for history fieldtrips. You can also find lots of history facts in the park. Outside the park also are vendors of native goods such as guitars, bags and accessories at a very affordable price. I bought a bracelet as a souvenir for 10 pesos back then.

I would probably check back these places and see any improvements if I have a chance. And that’s my recollection of memories.

I tried gambling with pisobid tonight, but sadly I lost!

Category: Internet

I joined the bidding site last week, because I was tempted with the free 5 bids (which I thought was enough to win an auction) that they post on their ad on multiply marketplace. I was also curious how the site works and why the bids are very low, I studied their rules and made some google-ing about the site. Some says it is a scam, some says it is legit and to some, it’s gambling. Well, to sum it up, I believe the site is legit.

Earlier today I checked the sites auctioned items, and a lot of great goodies up for bids. So I decided to try their bidding system. I purchased the 100 bid pack worth P1000.00 and bid for the iPhone 4 black. I didn’t win. While bidding, I noticed I am always logged out, and logging back in is very difficult coz I have to do it for about 5 times or more before I can log-in back to my account and bid again. Sigh, when I log-in back, someone else won the item for about P40.00. I didn’t mind at all because I thought that it will be resolved when I check back after a few minutes. So, I still have about 80 bids left, I tried bidding for other items available but then again, same issue still occurred. I don’t know why the page logged me out automatically when it refreshes, and logging back in is very difficult. The time I spent logging back to my account is mostly the time the item I’ve been bidding is sold to another bidder! And oh, by the way, my account has been flagged (which I don’t know why) about 4 days prior to purchasing my bid pack, but they had it fixed already and said that my account is active. I not sure if it’s related with the log-in issue.

I still have 12 bids left on my account though. I’ll bid it with something else later on. If I’ll win with my 12 bids left, I’ll probably buy a new bid pack. But as for now, I’ll probably not gamble with pisoman, I felt I was cheated when my account always logged me out and logging back in is very difficult.

I guess its “better luck next time!”

My Lucky Day!

I personally want to thank Cebu Pacific Air for their very low rates, especially there Piso Fare Promos. I have the chance to easily fly to Cebu and spend my weekend without the worry of spending too much on my fare.

Last October 15, I enjoyed another Piso Fare ticket, and aside from that, I won their in-flight games. I really had a feeling I’m gonna win that time, and yes, I was the last winner! Yey!..

Here's my prize for showing them the new 20 Peso bill.

Thanks Cebu Pacific for making my flight a pleasant one! LOL!!
